2016 'LUCY'S RUN VINEYARD' SHIRAZ

This relatively young vineyard is found on the aptly named Wine Country Drive. Over its short life, it has been producing Hunter Shiraz with the most amazing lifted perfume aroma. Deep crimson with purple hues in appearance, whilst lifted perfume aroma with hint of spice. Spice flavours of pepper with firm tannis to provide a full bodied style with great length on the palate. A well balanced wine, consistent with the classic Hunter Valley style of Shiraz.

Cellaring

Coupled with great palate intensity and fantastic length of flavour it will be interesting to see how this wine develops with time in the bottle. Careful cellaring will see this wine develop beautifully over the next 5 - 15 years.
